With bold and delicate Edo Kiriko
Collaboration with Japan's leading tradition

Among the traditional Japanese crafts, Edo Kiriko is very popular from overseas. Various traditional patterns are carved into colored glass with delicate techniques to create a shining jewel-like world.

Among the many designs, the buyer selected the Tenkai tumbler, which has a sufficient capacity and has an open mouth. The patterns that represent Japan, such as Mt. Fuji and cherry blossoms, are the original designs of the workshop. It is no exaggeration to say that the pink gradation reminiscent of cherry blossoms and the green gradation reminiscent of young leaves represent the hearts of the Japanese people who are looking forward to the opening of cherry blossoms in spring.

It's perfect for summer hospitality, so it's also recommended for weddings and housewarming. The collaboration of Japanese technology and patterns is a gem that will be appreciated by foreigners.

A glass created by the willingness to challenge a new tradition

Mitsuwa Glass Crafts is an Edo Kiriko workshop with many young craftsmen. It is an ambitious workshop where designers collaborate to create new crafts and work on "Tokyo handicraft" products that are sent to the world.

By incorporating the proposals of young designers that have never existed before, the technology has been refined, and the ideas that were born from that have been put to good use in the products that are newly created. Having enjoyed creating a new world of Kiriko, the workshop is trying to further refine its tradition and spread it to the world.

Continue to challenge while having fun. It is none other than the spirit of the craftsmen who have been connected since the Edo period, who are trying to evolve as well as inherit the tradition.
