Carved boldness and delicacy
Auspicious Edo Kiriko glassAuspicious Edo Kiriko glass
A glass with two traditional patterns that convey your thoughts
The traditional Edo Kiriko pattern 「菊繋ぎ」"Kikutsugi" is engraved on the beautifully colored glass with a beautiful gradation of green and amber. Especially for patterns that are thin and have many cuts, high technology is required. Many people like chrysanthemum ties because they reflect light brilliantly and the brilliance unique to Kiriko is beautiful.
Yamada Glass's original "Hosogikutama Tsunaimon", which has fine balls carved between the chrysanthemum connecting sentences, is engraved with the traditional Japanese pattern Qinghai wave and a thick and moving wave-like curve. It became a glass that felt more movement.
Both chrysanthemums and Qinghai waves are auspicious crests. Chrysanthemum means immortality and longevity, and Qinghai wave is a wish for a peaceful life. Continuing the pattern represents a "connection" and is even more auspicious. It is a glass that I would like to recommend as an item that conveys the feeling of celebration.
Sticking to "products that you want to use"
The studio that continues for three generations h3>
Yamada Glass is the studio of Edo Kiriko that continues for three generations. From the experience of making many products ordered from major manufacturers, I have acquired high technology that enables cutting into thin glass. p>
While making works that reach the realm of art by utilizing skillful techniques and original designs, the studio is particular about "products that you want to use in real life". There is.
Not only do you love the beauty of the cut, but you can actually add a drink and let it collaborate with the color, the light ice sound, the taste, and the five senses to make you feel its charm. p>
That is what Yamada Glass is aiming for, "Edo Kiriko in daily life," which adds glamor to everyday life. p>
I would like you to feel her spirit with "漣"(Sazanami) glass.
