Antique	Conceria la Bretagna SpA Founded in 1961. We are a tannery located near Santa Croce, Italy that specializes in vegetable tanning. It is produced using the vachetta method, a traditional technique from the Tuscan region. The company is a member of the ``Italian Vegetable Tanned Leather Association'' and uses natural vegetable tannins as a tanning agent that are friendly to the environment and people. The trademark weathercock comes from the fact that at the time of the company's founding, raw hides were purchased from the Brittany region of France, where there were many weathervanes, and the mark also uses tricolor colors. * Vachetta manufacturing method: This is a traditional Italian natural leather manufacturing method in which leather is tanned with natural astringency (tannin) extracted from plants and slowly impregnated with oil.
Features	Although it is a durable material with a supple and moist feel, the leather surface is easily scratched, so please be careful not to interfere with other items when carrying it in a bag. Since it is a natural material, the original wrinkles, scratches, and blood lines of leather remain. Even the same color may differ depending on the part of the leather and the lot. The color of the leather will darken over time.
